Silverstream School – Junior School

Our work at Silverstream School is an example of how we use our creativity to make the most out of a situation. With six separate projects and funding streams, we demolished four classrooms, refurbished four, and built two new. Then we linked the whole school together through a series of covered walkways that provide accessibility including for visually impaired.

The design of the learning spaces is the culmination of working closely with the school, though a collaborative briefing process, including observations. The result enables their play-based approach with settings to support a variety of learning experiences. Excellent acoustics, natural materials and a carefully selected colour palette provides calm spaces for teachers and students of all ages.
