Prior to joining RHA in October 2021, Yenfei has over 5 years of working experience in the New Zealand architecture industry. Her experience ranges from residential alterations to new multi-unit townhouses has equipped her with solid design foundation undertaking residential projects, compliance and consultant coordination skills.

Yenfei has an increasing interest in designing low energy, high performing environmentally sustainable building in New Zealand. She believes that good architecture should have a positive impact on the comfort, health and well being of the occupants, while reducing the operational carbon emissions in the built environment.

Yenfei is excited about contributing to the team at RHA and the company’s commitment to integrating ESD and Passive House principles into designing for a changing climate.

Originally from Malaysia, she graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia majoring in Architecture. Yenfei has a passion for the outdoors and functional crafts. During her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, alpine tramping, urban sketching, sewing and pottery. She is also designing her own house.”
