Craig Wagner
Craig has gathered over the years a wide range of architectural experience. Spanning from large scale nationally significant projects (Te Papa, Wellington Airport) to corporate retail rollouts (Caltex Starmart and other retail projects) and on to many other commercial, institutional, and corporate buildings and interiors.
Craig's key interest in Architecture is the interface between good design and the people who occupy that space. “What fascinates me is all the factors that are needed to create a great space and how each different individual end user might relate to this environment – get this right and it’s a great feeling”.
Starting as a cadet working on a drawing board and having been part of the first wave of designers to introduce CAD technology into architecture, He has been actively involved in the ongoing evolution of the computer driven architectural workplace. Not to say that Craig won’t be see sketching and drawing by hand when the opportunity arises.
Outside the office he can be seen yelling his support for the Hurricanes and wandering around Wellington in search of a good craft beer.
